This newly released document provides some really good ideas about identifying priorities and focal points as we begin the new school year. In particular, the comments early in the document provide some salient advice for having a “just in time” mentality (remediating in the context of grade-level standards) as opposed to a “just in case” mentality (remediating everyone up front before addressing grade-level standards).
