RESA’s ongoing program of instructional technology workshops provide educators with continuous opportunity to enhance their skills and learn new methods of integrating technology into their curriculum and instruction. Consultants work directly with school and district personnel upon request. We also provide cost-effective programs to help school districts keep up to date with course content, technology, classroom management techniques and a wide range of other topics.

Georgia Cyber Safety Initiative (GaCSI)
This training is designed to provide school administrators, IT specialists, library media specialists, classroom teachers and school counselors with the knowledge and skills necessary to create awareness and provide education about digital citizenship to K-12 students. The training is appropriate for novice to advanced users of cyber technologies. Very little prior experience or knowledge is required. Participants will complete 9 online modules and one day of face to face instruction.
Georgia Assessment of Performance on School Standards (GAPSS) Analysis: Closing the Gap process
provides detailed information for a school on the progress towards full implementation of the School Keys: Unlocking Excellence through the Georgia School Standards. The review process is mandated for schools in needs improvement at year six. Any school in Georgia can request a school review from the Division of School and Leader Quality of the Georgia Department of Education or the local Region Educational Support Agency (RESA). Online Teaching Endorsement
Consider applying to earn the Online Endorsement if you are an educator who would like to better
address the needs of the 21st century learners in a face-to-face classroom, prepare to teach in a virtual environment, or hone your skills as an online instructor. This endorsement is tangible evidence of the expertise you earn through a sequence of three rigorous online courses, two field experiences, and an internship with Georgia Virtual School. More-->
Online Learning
Pioneer RESA provides hosting for online classes at no cost to our constituent districts via the Moodle content management system. Moodle is a free, open-source CMS that is very popular in K12 education.
